Fly Factory
The Fly Factory is the AuSable River's original fly shop and guide service. In 1876, Chief David Shoppenagon, served as a hunting and fishing guide for lumber buyers and other visitors to the Grayling area in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Today, the Southard family is proud to help preserve the history and carry on the traditions established by our fore-runners at The Fly Factory and Ray's Canoeing.
